What Is It: A one pound roll of braunschweiger.
Packaging: It comes in a red and yellow package that almost looks like a block of cheese. Braunschweiger by it's very nature is not very appealing to the eye.

Taste/Final Analysis: Braunschweiger is one of those things that is definitely an acquired taste. It's a spreadable meat of sorts and is very strong in both taste and odor. I like it on a sandwich with some mustard or spread on a cracker. Great for a snack or a lunch. I prefer it in the single roll as opposed to the individually sliced packs. I've seen very little difference between brands of braunschweiger as they're all pretty similar.
