What Is It: 4 strips of imitation crab meat.
Packaging: It's a pretty cool package with the blue bag and cool crab artwork. I like it.

Taste/Final Analysis: This is a fantastic little cheap snack. At $ 1 (or 10 for $10 as the sign said) this is a great deal with 4 big strips of the crab here. The flavour is right on for crab and is great either straight or warmed dunked in melted butter which is my preference. A great snack to pick up.

Miracle Whip
What Is It: A salad dressing/sandwich spread made by Kraft.
Packaging: It comes with it's traditional white and blue logo with red writing. This one was a squeezable bottle insteadof the more commonly seen jar. Good enough.

Taste/Final Analysis: This is a product I use a ton. You see it spread on a chicken sandwich here but I also use it for tuna salad, coldcut sandwiches, and really a zillion other uses. It's similar to mayo but is a ton sweeter. Definitely one of those things that you can always find in my fridge.

Fastbites Breaded Chicken Sandwich
What Is It: A frozen chicken sandwich from the Dollar Tree.
Packaging: It comes in a green box with a picture of the product on it. Not very imaginative but at least you know what it is.

Taste/Final Analysis: This is another frozen option that the Dollar Tree carries. It's a prettybasic breaded chicken sandwich with the breading being pretty bland. On the plus side the texture is correct and for me I like to put a little Miracle Whip on it and I got a decent snack or small lunch. Not glamorous but I kinda like it.

John Morrell Braunschweiger
What Is It: A one pound roll of braunschweiger.
Packaging: It comes in a red and yellow package that almost looks like a block of cheese. Braunschweiger by it's very nature is not very appealing to the eye.

Taste/Final Analysis: Braunschweiger is one of those things that is definitely an acquired taste. It's a spreadable meat of sorts and is very strong in both taste and odor. I like it on a sandwich with some mustard or spread on a cracker. Great for a snack or a lunch. I prefer it in the single roll as opposed to the individually sliced packs. I've seen very little difference between brands of braunschweiger as they're all pretty similar.

Coastal Bay Candy Watermelon Wedges
What Is It: Watermelon flavoured gummy candy. I bought this at the Dollar Tree.
Packaging: It comes in a pink and green bag to match the colours of a watermelon. Clever enough and the candy looks awesome with it's little watermelons.

Taste/Final Analysis: While I have bought some seriously good products at Dollar Tree candy included this was the very definition of cheap dollar store candy. Kind of a half hearted almost plasticy flavour for the candy. I love the way they looked and you would probably be best served used this as decoration for like a cake or something. If you're looking for good watermelon flavour then look elsewhere.

Seasons Choice Potato Puffs
What Is It: A bag full of frozen potato puffs or tater tots if you will.
Packaging: Very basic red bag with a product picture on it. Very little to talk about here.

Taste/Final Analysis: Well they're pretty basic, run of the mill tater tots. Pretty decent flavour as it tastes like a potato cake or any other tater tot you've ever had. On the plus side you can doctor them up a million different ways such as ketchup, cheese, ranch, chili, hot sauce, etc. These are not really special in any way but do get the job done.

Hormel Chicken Tamales In Chili Sauce
What Is It: A can of 5 chicken tamales doused in chili sauce. I found this at the Dollar Tree.
Packaging: A pretty basic can with a picture of the product and red colours. Not bad but nothing very inventive either.

Taste: This is one of my favourite cheap snack/meals out there. They're basic Mexican hot tamales drenched in a very good chili sauce. I also like to add ketchup and Frank's Red Hot as well. Also some shredded cheddar is delicious as well although I didn't have it on this occasion. It takes a bit of effort (not too much) and is messy but is a darn good result.

Pocky Cookies And Cream
What Is It: A snack brought to us from Japan (by way of Kroger) it is a biscuit stick covered with in this case cookies and cream flavouring.
Packaging: Notexactly the most exciting box as they just went with product picture and description. On the plus side they did make the pocky look good here.

Taste/Final Analysis: This is a very unique and delicious dessert/snack that I found in the Asian section at Kroger. The biscuit part kinda tastes like shortbread and then when you add the coating of cookies and cream you have a tremendous treat. You get a lot of them in a box too. A great way to spend two bucks at the grocery store.

Mike And Ike's Mega Mix
What Is It: It's a box of 10 different flavours of Mike And Ike's candy. Flavour's included are Caribbean Punch, strawberry -banana, paradise punch, grape soda, kiwi banana, mango delight, watermelon, pineapple banana, peach berry, and blue raspberry. Basically every tropical flavour known to man.
Packaging: This is a really awesome looking box. The rainbows and bright colours really draw the eye to it and all of fruit decoration is cool also. Awesome effort here.

Taste/Final Analysis: Well if you like tropical flavours this is the box of candy for you. A wide array of flavours await you with most of them being great (I wasn't a fan of the mango but that's a person taste thing there.) The paradise punch and blue raspberry were my favourites from here. All in all another great effort from Mike And Ike's.

Curly's Three Stooges Knockout Hot Sauce
What Is It: Hot sauce patterned after Curly of the Three Stooges. I found this at Jungle Jim's.
Packaging: This is a really cool bottle as it has a funny picture of Curly on there. I also like that tbey used blue which is unusual for a hot sauce.

Taste/Final Analysis: This is a pretty standard hot sauce. It kinda taste similar to Louisiana Hot and things like it. Good with coney's and tacos. Most people might buy this for display purposes only but if you open it up it's not half bad either. Your choice.

Goldfish Pizza Flavoured
What Is It: The traditional Goldfish snack that everybody knows only this one is pizza flavoured.
Packaging: It comes in a white and orange bag with some goldfish artwork and one very small random slice of pizza on the lower right corner of the bag. Could have used some more pizza things to sell the pizza flavour of the product like putting a hole pizza in the animated goldfish's "fin" or something, but what they have isn't too bad.

Taste/Final Analysis: This is one of my favourite Goldfish flavours. You still get the cheesy flavour you expect from a normal Goldfish cracker but with a big punch of pizza flavour. I really recommend these but have something to drink as the saltiness will dry you up a bit.

Little Debbie Maple Buns
What Is It: Individually wrapped maple glazed pastries.
Packaging: A very cool front of the box with the pictures of the pastries as well as the fall colours. Back of the box is boring. Also the pastries don't look nearly as attractive as the one's on the box.

Taste/Final Analysis: This was a really good effort by Little Debbie. Great maple flavour and a really nice, moist donut center make for a great dessert or snack. I use them to take to work for a lunch dessert. I approve.

Fast Bites Fish And Cheese Sandwich
What Is It: A basic frozen fish sandwich with a slice of American cheese that I bought at the Dollar Tree.
Packaging: It comes in a blue box with a picture of the product on it. Pretty basic but effective.

Taste/Final Analysis: This was a lot better than a dollar store frozen fish sandwich has any right to be. Assuming that you cook it properly which for me was about 2 minutes the filet had pretty decent texture to it and had a pretty good breading on it. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I had some tartar sauce in the fridge which made it even better. Mild recommendation for a quick lunch or snack.
