Armour Pretzel Rods Snack Maker

Armour Pretzel Rods Snack Maker

What Is It: A snack kit that includes 6 pretzel rods and 2 spaces of nacho cheese.

Packaging: It looks like anyother of this sort of product with the plastic tray bottom covered with a plastic top with the name of the product on it. Good enough.

6 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: While this isn't the most exciting looking product in the world it is a very good one. The nacho cheese is not a bad take  (better if you warm it up) and the pretzels make a good dipper. Unlike some of the other sorts of Lunchable style things especially the pizza ones this one is a lot easier to eat on the go. For a buck this is definitely not a bad product.

Jack Links All American Beef And Cheese

Jack Links All American Beef And Cheese

What Is It: A snack that comes with one beef stick and one stick of American cheese.

Packaging: It comes with the cool red and black colours on it. No real extra artwork but still looks cool.

7 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: This is a pretty basic snack as it's just a beef stick which isn't that spicy or anything but does have decent flavour for a beef stick. The cheese is a very divisive thing as some people hate it because of how processed it is. I kinda like it as it has a decent cheese flavour to it even if it's not epic or anything. There are better products made by Jack Links but this is an okay albeit safe choice.

Sweettarts Giant Chewy

Sweettarts Giant Chewy

What Is It: As the name would suggest it's a giant, chewy, Sweettart. They come 4 in a pack with a red cherry, green lime , purple grape,  and yellow lemon flavours.

Packaging: Lime all Sweettarts products it comes in a blue wrapper. This one has pictures of the giant tarts on there as well. Looks good.

Taste/ Final Analysis: Well the bottom line is if you like Sweettarts you will probably like these as they're just bigger chewier versions. The flavours are pretty much the same although these do last a lot longer. I do wosh they'd have switched out the purple and green for blue and orange as I simply love those flavours of Sweettarts but we got what we got. And what we got is a pretty good product.

Various Fall Themed Candies

Various Fall Themed Candies

Fall Festival Mix Taffy

Coastal Bay Mellocreme Pumpkins

Peanut Butter Kisses

What Is It: I'm combining 3 autumn candies into one review. Included here are Fall Festival Taffy which is basically pumpkin flavoured taffy. They also have maple and butter pecan. The pumpkins are kind of an offshootof candy corn and is often included into mixes with them. The kisses aren't the kisses you're accustomed to but rather peanut butter flavoured taffy. The orange wrapper is more peanut buttery and the black is closer to toffee flavour like.

Packaging: All three of these products come in mostly orange bags because of it being sold around Halloween. Not bad but not spectacular.

5.5 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: We'll start with the Fall Festival Taffy. Its very strong on all of the flavours. The maple is pretty good but the other two flavours were a little too strongly flavoured to be any good. The pumpkins are delicious and one of the candies I look forward to the most in the fall. It's kind of a larger, creamier version of candy corn. The kisses are very good as well and honestly I like both kinds equally. Neither are overpowered with the flavours they are. All in all 2 out of 3 of these I'd recommend.

Sweettart Ropes

Sweettart Ropes

What Is It: Sweettarts in a gummy rope form.

Packaging: It has the traditional pink and blue colours that you identify Sweettarts with. Looks cool.

7 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: This is actually one ofy current favourite candies out there. They have punch filling for all of these which is one of my favourite flavours in the galaxy. Now despite the fact that I like that flavour so much I think they did miss out on an opportunity to get some other flavours in there too. Nonetheless I love this and for a buck will probably be eating a lot of packs of these in my time.

Andy Capps Cheddar Fries

Andy Capps Cheddar Fries

What Is It: A less spicy take on their more Hot Fries. They're a cheddary oven baked snack.

Packaging: This is identical to their Hot Fries bag with the blue bag and product picture on the front. Looks good enough.

Taste/ Final Analysis: Even though Hot Fries is more nationally recognized this is also a good product produced by Andy Capps. Every fry has a delicious cheddary punch that is any cheese lover's delight. A great travel snack although a little messy on the fingers. Good stuff and cheap too.

Jelly Belly Soda Pop Shoppe Jellybeans

Jelly Beans Soda Pop Shoppe Jellybeans

What Is It: As you would expect these are soda pop flavoured jellybeans. Flavours included are orange Crush, 7 up, A&W Rootbeer and creme soda, and grape Crush.

Packaging: Very cool looking bag with lots of jellybeans on there as well as the sodas. Well done.

8 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: With all of the unique version of jellybeans out there you can get jellybeans that pretty much taste like anything.  This soda pop take on them was fairly successful. All of the flavours taste like the soda they represent and all are very tasty. The orange Crush was my favourite and I can't really pick any of the others above or below each other. Even the grape Crush was good and I generally don't like grape candy. I do wish they had included a cola or cherry cola as I think that's a big omission for a bag of soda jellybeans. Otherwise a good effort.

Runts Candy

Runts Candy

What Is It: Fruit shaped very sugary candy made by Wonka. They currently have them in banana, orange, strawberry, lime, and it has grape on the box but did not come in my box.

Packaging: It comes in a yellow box with little smiling fruit characters on there. Looks really fun and appropriate for this kind of candy.

8 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: The first thing I'll say is whatever happened to the cherry?! They used to have cherry and it was awesome and now they don't. Sadness. Of what they do have the orange is my favourite followed by strawberry, lime, and finally banana. Like I said it's basically flavoured sugar in fruit shapes. They are very accurate to the fruit they represent. It's a good candy but please bring back the cherry.

100 Grand Bars

100 Grand Bars

What Is It: As the package says "chewy caramel & milk chocolate & crispy crunchies." This is a Nestle product.

Packaging: It comes in a red package with the logo front and center. Basic but fine.

6 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: This is always a delicious candy bar. They kind of come in small chunks. I know I got the fun size but even the full size candy bar comesin 2 or 3 small chunks. They pack tons of flavour in those chunks. The caramel and chocolate equally add lots of sweetness and the crunchies add good texture to it almost like rice. Be warned this is a very chewy candy especially if it's cold and I don't recommend it to anyone who has teeth problems. Otherwise this is yummy treat.

Fast Choice Beef Charbroiled Burger

Fast Choice Beef Charbroiled Burger

What Is It: A cheeseburger that I got out of the vending machine at work for $2.75. It comes with bun, cheese, and burger.

Packaging: Pretty standard wrap for a vending machine product. The cheeseburger itself visually looks terrible though.

5 out of 10 for packaging and 1 out of 10 for presentation of the cheeseburger.

Taste/ Final Analysis: This is the very definitionof average vending machine food. The burger actually does have some charbroil flavour to it which is good. There is lots of cheese also which helped. The bun was not the best though. You'll definitely want to add some ketchup or mustard on here as it doesn't come with sauce. $2.75 is a lot more than this sandwich is worth but if you're hungry and don't feel like leaving work to get something better than its not the worst thing ever.

Simm's Summer Sausage

Simm's Summer Sausage

What Is It: Summer sausage that I got at Aldi.

Packaging: This is packaged like pretty much every pack of summer sausage I've ever seen with brown wrap surrounding the sausage.

5 out of 10

Taste/ Final Analysis: In my mind there is no difference between a premium high priced summer sausage or this store brand one. This is a perfect snack as the cool kinda peppery taste is delicious whether you put it on a cracker or just straight up. It's even better with a little cheddar cheese. Definitely worth picking up if you go to Aldi.
